under rennovations; this blog looks like poop: itisnotofimport: the supernatural fandom is blessed with one of the... the supernatural fandom is blessed with one of the most kind and receptive cast and crew in the world. they take time out of their lives to interact with us and share their lives with us and give us little extra tidbits when they have absolutely no obligation to do so.
praising them for answering questions on the spot at conventions then condemning them for poor phrasing or giving and answer you don’t like is completely hypocritical. they’re actors, not professional public speakers or writers. if they say something genuinely problematic then it should be politely brought to their attention, but demonizing them for reacting in a situation any of us would just as likely flounder in is absurd.
take the bad with the good and don’t hold the actors on a pedestal. the amount they give back to us is amazing and the amount of hate in this fandom is unwarranted.
